Almost perfect.

On the positive side, the location of the hotel is great, overlooking a beautiful park and right by a bus stop that takes you to the city. It is also very close to the main attractions of the lovely Port of Leith.

The room smelled strange and was not as clean as expected, with noticeable cobwebs and dusty furniture.

The Sandaig in Edinburgh was absolutely amazing! The excellent accommodation and perfect location across from a beautiful park made our stay wonderful. The easy access to Leith Quay with its fantastic bars and restaurants was a bonus. We loved the convenient free parking and the bus stop right outside that took us into the city. The delicious breakfast selection was a great start to the day. Highly recommended!

I had a very comfortable and clean family room with excellent en suite and TV facilities at Sandaig. The location facing the open park area was perfect, and it was so convenient to catch the bus into town. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the breakfast choices were excellent. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus for staying connected. I highly recommend Sandaig for a pleasant and convenient stay in Edinburgh.

Free street parking and lockbox self check, in were convenient. the location near Claremont park and the up, and, coming Leith quay and shore area was a key advantage. There were many bars and restaurants nearby.

The room did not match the reservation picture, and there was no staff present to address the issue. the bed sheets had tears and holes, and the bed had felt springs.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place. The location is simply fantastic, situated right on a park which is lovely for a morning stroll. The hotel is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, making it a peaceful retreat. The service here is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who attended to our every need. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we could ask for, including ironing facilities, heating, and a cozy sitting area. We were also impressed with the complimentary welcome drink and the free Wi-Fi. this place provided us with a luxurious and comfortable experience.
